Father of the Bride
On January 4, 2014 my one and only daughter was married. While this is certainly special for any father, another element is that I am adopted so my daughter is my only known blood relative. This was a great day; seeing my little girl's magical dreams come true. She married a fine, Christian man who is also a very hard working, proud American. Shhhh don't tell him but he is the son-in-law I would have picked had I been the one doing the choosing. Anyhow I thank the good Lord for all the blessings he has bestowed upon me this year already.

The Idiot Speaks About Me Again

Another year passes and here at UNPRETERIST.BLOGSPOT.COM we've kept you informed of all the events within the preterist movement. But 2013 may have been the most important year yet. In 2013 we saw the decline and eventual collapse of the so-called "anti-preterist" groups. We say "so-called" because these groups were in fact very friendly to full or hyperpreterism while pretending they were opposing it. We'll get more into that in a moment. 2013 also was perhaps the most lackluster year yet for the full preterist movement, with no notable conferences or book releases or debates.
SIGN-O-THE-TIMES
The high-profile "anti-preterist" website; PreteristBlog, administered by "Dee Dee Warren" ceased operation without warning. The site is still online but all the content is gone and replaced only by a simple message referring visitors to a Facebook page...a page that also doesn't offer any update. While I don't want to speculate as to what happened, I am hopeful that this is a sign that Warren is backing away from her association with hyperpreterist enabler, Kenneth Talbot. But I doubt it. PreteristBlog's departure also shows it outlived its relevance anyway. Once it started cozying up to Sam Frost, it was doomed.
YES-NO-NOT
Speaking of Frost, when he left the movement *wink wink* to follow after "Realized Preterism", he boasted how he was ready to debate any full preterist, anywhere at anytime. Hyperpret author, Don Preston took up the challenge but when Frost's marital life took a bad turn, he backed out not giving any reason for it. Frost's P.R. man said since Frost only agreed to the debate verbally and not in writing that he wasn't bound to stick with the deal. Hmmm...so much for Mt 5:37 eh? I hope Frost's life gets back in order and that he can uncouple himself from Talbotism.
RIVERS-O-EVIL?
Perhaps the most consistent full preterist ever, a fellow who goes by the name "RiversOfEden" had been advocating for applying the full preterist premises...well...consistently, which would mean when they say "all was fulfilled" in the first century and "audience relevancy", Rivers sees the last generation of Christians being those in the 1st century. There is no more salvation after AD70. God's plan is done...upon that "audience" and that generation. However, other full prets like Preston and up-comer Michael Miano saw how destructive this consistency was to full preterism. After all, if it is all fulfilled, Miano doesn't get to be a "pastor" and Preston's book market dries up right? So, Miano and others had worked overtime on Facebook to try to shut River's down. It doesn't appear to be working.
FACEBOOK PRETS
And actually, Facebook is one of the last places you can find full preterist activity. The premier sites are ghost towns. PlanetPreterist...you know, the one ran by Brian McLaren wannabe, Virgil Vaduva died a few years back shortly after Vaduva's failed foray into local politics. Likewise, Frost's sounding board site lost its founder and "techie" guy so it dried up. Other full preterist sites are just as bad off. But if you really want your fill of full preterism rhetoric, Facebook has groups you can join. There are now even a lot more REAL opposition groups as well on Facebook (unlike the fake PretBlog).
THE FUTURE IS THE END
I usually try to offer a bit of prediction for the coming year, but 2014 looks like it will hardly register a peep out of the Full Preterists. Miano was promising but after his relationship issues I'm not certain we can consider he will be very effective. What does that have to do with anything you ask? Well, in most mainline Christian denominations, a divorced pastor would be forced to resign. (see 1 Tim 3:5) I'm not trying to be mean or rude to Miano, I actually like the guy and think he tries to be sincere but he may need some time to regroup.
Preston hasn't put out anything new in years...even his "new" books are merely the same old rehashes. His coffee sipping videos are parodies of himself.
John Noe has been attempting to assert more of a voice but he can't seem to get out of the way of his own ego. He even offered to debate fellow Full Pret, David Green but then backed out because Green wouldn't worship Noe like his fawners do.
So, I predict that if Full Preterism doesn't virtually die in 2014, it will be of such little consequence that even this site may go dormant...I mean, what is there to talk about here if we can't even talk about the silly things the Full Prets are saying and doing if they aren't saying and doing anything anymore? Which is a blessing. Their mouths and the mouths of their so-called "partial-preterist" enablers have been stopped. --

While in June of 2010, then full preterist circuit speaker, Sam Frost said that I am "one of the most abhorred persons in the history of full preterism, it is now 2013-2014 and that honorable title has been passed to a new recipient. There is a fellow who has been a full preterist since the early years of the movement...that's the 1970 for you newbies. Because of the nature of his federal work, he chooses to use an alias. He currently uses the name "Rivers Of Eden" He consistently posts under this name so there is no attempt to hide his identity otherwise. Hey, it's not like he was a seminary president who went on a full preterist site using the name "superpreterist" and told his friends not to tell anyone it was him...oh yeah, that was Kenneth Talbot, the fraud of frauds (that's for you Jason Bradfield, you need a post to steal and repost on your cowardly site). Anyhow, back to the point.
WHY?
Why do full preterists hate this guy so much? Well, first off, let me demonstrate the kind of hate they show him. Full Pret, Dave Green often calls Rivers' "Rivers of Evil". (ref) Although I'm not certain who first coined this name for Rivers, Green's buddy and fellow full pret, Michael Sullivan claimed it was "seasoned" full preterist, Larry Siegle. (ref)
Another fellow on Facebook, presumably a full pret named Joe Simpson even took to the Vaduva-Bradfieldesque approach of trying to elicit violence against Rivers by posting over and over, in what state Rivers supposedly lives. How is this relevant? It is just bully tactics to try to get someone to shut up. I've had bullies like Phil Nassens do this to me before, even posting the city where I live and where my daughter went to school. Why?
But as for the reason these folks hate Rivers so much; it is because he is demonstrating what full preterism is if applied consistently. And if applied consistently, full preterism destroys a person's faith...or at least their ability to claim they are Christian in any historical sense.

What gets full prets in a tizzie is that Rivers tells people that the audience was only the first century Christians -- who according to Rivers were only converted Abrahamic peoples (ie Jews). Rivers claims that the use of term "Gentiles", at least in the N.T. is referring to wayward sons of Abraham who may have been away from the Holy Land. Verses like John 4:22, where it is said that "salvation is of the Jews" may appear to support Rivers' claim.
But this alone isn't enough to make full pret stars like Don Preston call Rivers a "racist and an atheist" as Preston has called Rivers in attempt to dismiss Rivers' debate challenges to Preston.

But when Rivers says this, he really means it. What do these notions do to the concept of "authority"? Who would go to a Church let alone sit under a full preterist "pastor"? Who will buy John Noe's latest self-promotion book?
It's no wonder that full preterists -- especially those in "authority" like Preston and Green (with his minor following) and Michael Miano with his pastorate, MUST oppose someone like Rivers. He is a danger to their gigs.

You know Rivers must be doing something when the full prets start to pile on. Preston has even been on Miano's radio show trying to tamp down anyone looking into what Rivers is saying. Granted, Miano has had Rivers on his show too, however I'm having a problem finding a link to that show. I hope it hasn't been deleted as has been done to Rivers when he did podcasts with full pret Michael Loomis. It got so bad at one point that Loomis received threats of withdraw from supporters for having Rivers on his podcasts.
Oddly enough, Preston got on Miano's podcast disparaging people like Kenneth Gentry for only acceding to a type of fulfillment instead of a "real end". Well, Rivers IS advocating a "real fulfillment/end" but his fellow full prets hate him for it.

Lastly I wanted to debunk some LIES going around about Rivers:
His real name is Chris Camillo -- per Rivers, that is another alias he used early on.
He teaches Christian Identity doctrine -- yet Rivers never quotes their material, only Bible verses.
He is a racist -- this comes from the falsehood of saying he teaches Christian Identity.
He is an atheist -- this comes from the falsehood of thinking that if all is fulfilled, then there is no faith.
He is lying -- yet people who say this about him, never tell us what he is supposedly lying about.
He is not a full preterist -- yet he meets all the beliefs FPs share. He's just more consistent.
He is a hyperpreterist -- this comes from FPs who claim they are not hyperprets.
He is a showboat egotist -- yet he doesn't even have his own website and doesn't sell books.
So, even though I no more agree with Rivers than I do with any other Full Preterist, it is worth your time if you are a Full Preterist or studying Full Preterism to contact Rivers (I call him the Martin Luther of Full Preterism). A Stalker Blinded to His Stalking

Roderick, who writes about me on a weekly basis, now calls me the "stalker" merely because i copy and paste all his perverted, obsessed blogs about me on this site. I don't know whether to laugh at such blindness or feel sorry for what appears to be mental retardation. Here is his recent one:

As you may know, Jason Bradfield is/was the P.R. man for Sam Frost. And as you may know further, Frost recently went through or is going through some marital issues -- but that is neither here nor there, we all have our problems. The point is, Jason has a lot of free time on his hands. Since he doesn't know what to do with himself he spends time STEALING articles and images of me from my site. This from a supposed "Christian" and "deacon-in-training". I've tried a couple of times complaining to his pastors but since that is just as much a fraud as Sam and Jason ever were, it fell on deaf ears. I guess they have no problem with thieves among them.
Jason is so obsessed with me that he actually had taken the time to set up an anonymous website and then copy/change the font and page coloring to try to match this one. Yeah, he's THAT weird folks.
Further, Jason has tracked down my place of work and called my boss trying to get me fired. Sad really.

As you may know, Jason Bradfield is/was the P.R. man for Sam Frost. And as you may know further, Frost recently went through or is going through some marital issues -- but that is neither here nor there, we all have our problems. The point is, Jason has a lot of free time on his hands. Since he doesn't know what to do with himself he spends time STEALING articles and images of me from my site. This from a supposed "Christian" and "deacon-in-training". I've tried a couple of times complaining to his pastors but since that is just as much a fraud as Sam and Jason ever were, it fell on deaf ears. I guess they have no problem with thieves among them.
Jason is so obsessed with me that he actually had taken the time to set up an anonymous website and then copy/change the font and page coloring to try to match this one. Yeah, he's THAT weird folks.

Poor Talbotites
The following is yet another recent post full of lies by the obsessive pagan Roderick Edwards; a man-child who would rather see people burn in hell than become Reformed Christians:

A group I have highlighted here at Unpreterist are the Talbotites. These are a group of folks that follow around Kenneth Talbot - a man who actually had the nerve to start his own denomination and then try to use it to give credibility to the seminary and church he started.
The preterist connection is detailed throughout this site, however a summary is that Sam Frost, who was once considered the main spokesman for Full Preterism was a favorite protege of Talbot. Yet Talbot never publicly for over 10 years dared to challenge Frost. As a matter of fact, while Frost was at the height of his Full Preterism, Talbot was having Frost develop student materials for his supposed "Christian" seminary.
Further, Talbot attempted to develop a modified form of Full Preterism he was calling "Realized Preterism". Fortunately, it has gone nowhere. Talbot also LIED by trying to tell people that either David Chilton was never a Full Preterist or that Chilton denounced that belief on his death bed. There is absolutely no evidence of Chilton denouncing Full Preterism before he died. Not even Gary North; Chilton's publisher claims this.
But the reason I have titled this article "Poor Talbotites" is because of the mass destructive effect Talbot has had on his followers. Sam Frost's life is in disarray with either a divorce or on the way to a divorce. He no longer has the will to debate Full Preterists and even dishonorably canceled his scheduled debate with Don Preston.
Another Talbotite; Dee Dee Warren who became a Talbotite after Talbot's Romans 16:17-18 phone call to her where he sweet talked her and then gave her a free tuition (bought her off) to his self-made seminary; to shut her up from criticizing his connection to Frost. He presided over Warren's second marriage which lasted about 1 year, and now Warren is on her third marriage. But not only that, her "anti-full preterist" websites are all gone. My hope is she simply walked away from all the destruction that is Talbotism. If that is the case, I wish her well.
The Talbotites have spent YEARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRSSS lying about people and illegally stealing their material yet pretending they are a righteous representation of Christianity. They talk about "archiving" and "documenting" things but since liars can't get their stories straight, the "archives" they create are merely their own delusions.

He is a pitiful pretentious man who thinks too highly of himself and like his protege talks over people, droning on and on. Oh yeah, I better mention Talbot's most dedicated cult follower otherwise he won't have an excuse to steal my copyrighted material and post it on his anonymous website. Bradfield is Talbot's most devoted underling; helping Talbot with his websites and serving as a deacon in training at Talbot's self-made little church.
These people are truly "religionists" and cultists. Their devotion to a man who has clearly made himself a cult leader in every sense of the word; is sad to see. I would rather see an ex-full preterist become an atheist before they became a Talbotite; since at least there would be hope to restore an atheist but Talbot's destructive effect seems to kill the spirit of people who follow him.

The following words were written by Roderick Edwards concerning the Puritan Board, a forum owned and operated by a member of the Reformed Presbyterian Church General Assembly and instructor for Whitefield Theological Seminary; the same denomination and seminary that Rod claims is part of a cult. hmmm...so what changed? The denomination, seminary, and forum have not changed.
Answer: Roderick changed. Roderick changes whenever it suits him. He especially hates to be confronted by men who actually understand the Reformed faith better than he does. And when his ignorance is pointed out, he turns on you.

Life After Full Preterism

While I was a full preterist I would argue that people who leave that perspective really have no place to go. I mean, if per full preterism it is the full revelation of God's Word; then what happens if you leave that revelation? Do you go back to something "partially revealed/fulfilled"? Do you conclude that since Christianity apparently got eschatology wrong for 2000 years, if full preterism is wrong; then Christianity itself is a sham and you become an atheist? I just couldn't see what life after full preterism looked like. Some full preterists argue that to be consistent, a person MUST either be a full preterist or a Roman Catholic. This is almost the original Roman Catholic position in reverse where the a person would be considered a "heretic" unless they were Roman Catholic. Martin Luther challenged this idea when his professor Andreas Karlstadt proposed it. Luther asked how the entire Greek/Eastern Orthodox Church could be considered heretics considering they were even older than the Roman Catholic Church. Karlstadt had no answer and the rest is history even with Karlstadt becoming more radical than Luther. So, what happens to people when they "leave full preterism"? Do they become more liberal? Do they become atheists? Roman Catholics? "Partial-Preterists"? The next stop after full preterism is varied, but many people once they have spent time passionately believing and espousing full preterism and then leave it are never really the same. How could they be, after all they were so certain they finally found the truth. How could they return to the "lie" or at least a half-truth of "futurism"? WHAT DO YOU DO WITH THE TIME TEXTS Perhaps the biggest question for former full preterists is what do they do with the time texts? It seems so clear that the Bible is teaching about a soon/at hand coming of Jesus so do we just forget about all that? No, but the problem is that we have applied the false full preterist premise/narrative to the time texts. There is no denying the imminent tone of the time texts, however the question should be what does the Bible mean when it talks about Jesus' "coming". If you're keen, you will pick up on how many full preterists (and Left-Behinders) will use the words "coming" and "return" interchangeably. Therein is the problem. Jesus WAS about to/at hand/soon/shortly/within the disciples' generation "come" -- but that is NOT a return to earth. Compare Dan 7:13-15 to Matt 26:64 and you will see what I'm talking about. Jesus was "coming" into glory and vindication as the Messiah. He was "about to come in/on/with" the clouds TO the Father/Ancient of Days/God. And this is exactly how the bulk of Christianity has understood the time texts...until the Dispensationalists came along and until the full or hyperpreterist over-reaction to Left Behind Dispensationalism. CONCLUSION While I've known and seen some former full preterists become functional atheists, even if they still claim to be "Christian" or I have seen them latch on to another "ism" such as Sam Frost and Jason Bradfield latching onto Talbotism; there really is no need to be tossed to and fro. Full Preterism was not the last stop in theology, as a matter of fact it was a serious and erroneous detour that was leading people into the ghetto of religion where the players make up their own rules (such as rules of interpretation), and where you are likely to be violently accosted by its adherents if you don't behave the way they expect you should. Just get back to historic Christianity -- the Christianity BEFORE all the Dispensationalism Left Behindism with all its rapturous people floating through the air and its constant embarassing date setting. Get back to historic Christianity BEFORE all of Partial-Preterist incestuous good-ole boy clubs with their propping up of each other's inconsistent theology that actually leads people to hyperpreterism. Get back to historic Christianity BEFORE the radical individualism and over (ie hyper) reactionism of hyperpreterism where every person seems to have a "private interpretation" that is outside the scope of anything that has ever been considered Christianity. I urge you reader, to take a minimal approach where your personal "creed" is the very minimum of all Christian creeds -- and creed simply means belief, or a statement of belief. Ask yourself what you believe on the minimal questions within Christianity? Questions such as: The infallibility and inerrancy of the Bible as represented by the overall translations. The nature and effect of the Fall on humanity Human Freewill vs God's Sovereignty Jesus' nature (fully man and fully God) The concept of the Trinity The Kingdom's present state/effect Get these things pinned down and see how your personal creed compares to the bulk of historic Christianity before latching on to other things. So many people are ready to "run on ahead" 2 John 1:9 before they even know what they're talking about. If your personal creed/beliefs are out of sync with historic Christianity, then you probably aren't "Christian" -- and no, I'm not talking about whether you are saved or not -- that's between you and God. If your beliefs are radically different than the bulk of Christianity, then you are no more "Christian" than a person born and living in America claiming to be an American while they are espousing open Communism. Communism is NOT an American belief anymore than hyperpreterism is a Christian belief. So, there is life after full preterism if you don't latch onto some other ism or fall into atheism. In early 2004 the website; thekingdomcome.com was started at first as a place to promote a more conservative form of "Full Preterism". By 2007, Roderick Edwards, the purveyor of the site had abandoned the heresy of Full or Hyperpreterism. The site was retooled to promote time honored theological answers to contemporary issues.
After many years of being a place where people could come for honest interaction; as it did not require registration or login to leave comments, by 2013 Roderick decided it was time to leave behind the "religionists". No, it was not a leaving of the Faith but merely an acknowledgement that much of "ahem"; esteemed theologians are part of a "good-ole-boys" club that covers for the corruption of their peers. This became extremely apparent in how seminary owner Kenneth Talbot covered for corrupt men and even promoted them as if they were honorable men.
At the height of this corruption, one of Talbot's underlings; a man Talbot even promoted to "deacon" within his church, actually called Roderick's work in an attempt to get him fired. This same man, whom Talbot promotes as a "Christian" called Roderick's home an attempted to interact with his wife. This same man stole (and still keeps) Roderick's copyrighted material against Roderick's expressed statements.
Anyhow, the corruption among men like Talbot and his peers like Gary DeMar, Kenneth Gentry and others is so wide-spread, that Roderick saw no nobility in keeping a theological presence in such an environment and prays every day that God bring such corruption to an end.

Sam Frost Reneges On Debate

In May 2010, Dee Dee Warren and her little sycophants promoted a "debate" I NEVER agreed to and attributed to me positions I do not hold. (see here). I objected to it at the time as underhanded and not becoming of people who claim to be "Christians". Even their esteemed "Dr." Talbot didn't force them to retract their lies...because he too is a liar. HOWEVER, here we are in July 2013 and a REAL debate, instigated by Sam Frost (protege of Talbot) toward consistent preterist; Don Preston has been withdrawn. Frost reneged -- that means Frost went back on his word. Yet not a peep out of Dee Dee or PaulT Gates or the rest of the Talbotites.

Notice that Jason Bradfield; Frost's P.R. man comes to Frost's defense. But how do you defend a man who doesn't keep his word?

Now, here is my hope. I hope Frost is done trying to present himself as God's gift to theology. I'm sure Sam is a great janitor (his profession). I would be more than happy to do my business in toilets Frost has cleaned.... Seriously though, maybe Frost is finally realizing he is just a man and that he and Talbot spent YEARS destroying other people's lives....and should be repentant rather than arrogant. Maybe, just maybe he is starting to show a bit of humility.

Oddly I am seeing reports where a rabid Clarkian is appearing to say that God's ways are above our own as it clearly says in Isaiah 55:8-9. Clarkians as you may know are followers of Gordon Clark. Clark was a philosopher who supposed that the Bible is always "logical" and can always be approached with sheer logic. Clark taught that there is no such thing as a paradox in the Bible even though paradox is only an apparentcontradiction but not an actual contradiction. Or, maybe it's Clark's followers that come off as claiming this and Clark himself never meant to imply this. However, there are paradoxes all over the Bible; such as the "first shall be last and the last shall be first". Miracles are apparent contradictions against the "logical" laws of nature.
I have found Clarkians to be perhaps the rudest "Christians" I have ever encountered; usually because they seem to "logically" give themselves a pass for their corruption. (By the way; Kenneth Talbot is a champ of Clarkianism -- which says a lot)
Anyhow, this Clarkian recently quoted Psalm 131:1-3 which is amazing because it speaks of humility and not trying to attain to "matters too great". Most Clarkians seem to think they are so much smarter than the average person. Talbot even thinks he can decide who should be killed if they don't "obey" him and his cronies (source).
Is this Clarkian finally seeing the light that he isn't such a big shot? I doubt it; because this guy is way too full of himself. But I pray the Lord does a work in him.

TKC Closing
After almost 12 years, I am closing this site when the account comes due for renewal in Oct 2013. Why? Well, because quite frankly I'm sick and tired of religionists. Don't get me wrong. I am "religious". I'm a devout Christian. But a religionist is someone who is so wrapped up in their "religion" that they abandon integrity and honesty. Jesus called such people hypocrites like the Pharisees who would devise all sorts of technicalities to get around Sabbath prohibitions yet condemn other people for infractions. These are religionists. They read Bible verses (or whatever "sacred" book(s) they may hold) as if they were sub-sectioned law books that require them to figure out all the loop holes they can apply to themselves.
I just want out. Removing myself from my most vocal theological presence should be the way to go about it. Perhaps I will be less a target for the religionists. This DOESN'T mean I'm going away...sorry to tell you, you stalker religionists. I will work in other ways to push back against religionists.
But until that time, I will continue to post here periodically.

There has been no doubt that over the last few years this site has focused on the "Talbotites" -- Kenneth Talbot followers. Some of these are high profile ex-Full Preterists like Sam Frost and Jason Bradfield. And over these years, the Talbotites have been vicious haters of me; Bradfield went so far as to call my house and try to talk to my wife about me and even creepishly stalked out my place of work and called my boss to try to get me fired. All of this and yet the Talbotites continue to have people think they are honorable people.
Well, I want to revisit history; especially in light of Bradfield's latest article. Oddly enough, even with all his hatred, I have respect for Bradfield; always have. Of the pair, Frost and Bradfield, I certainly give creds to Bradfield having a more honest heart. Anyhow. During the years when I left the Full Preterist movement and tried to explain HOW people got into it; and specifically mentioning how Bradfield got into it, Bradfield's hatred simmered. He just couldn't hear what Roderick Edwards was saying -- he hates me that much. His hatred gets in his way.
In Bradfield's latest article, called The Subtlety of Heresy he further explains how he fell into "hyperpreterism". He says:
"....in 2003, my family and i packed our bags and moved to Florida to dedicate our lives to what i thought was the ‘new reformation.’ Seven. Years. Seven freakin’ years of wallowing in that garbage."
This is a reference of Bradfield contacting and then joining up with Full Preterist self-styled "pastor", Sam Frost. This is the same Frost that Kenneth Talbot allowed to help develop student materials for his seminary while never confronting Frost publicly. Could you imagine if Talbot would have instead, aggressively opposed and denounced Frost's promotion of...well, how does Bradfield call it? "garbage". Instead, Talbot knowingly allowed and even fostered Frost's many years of promoting heresy. Talbot has finally given Bradfield a role in his seminary and I wonder if a bit of it is due as repayment for helping to cause people like Bradfield to waste "seven freakin' years of walling in garbage". I mean, when good men see evil and do nothing, there are consequences right?
HISTORY REPEATING ITSELF
While I certainly think it is good news when a person breaks free of a cult or a heresy, it is not good news when they simply jump into another cult or heresy. Isn't there any red flags for Bradfield about joining with Talbot; the man who coddled the man who helped Bradfield fall into heresy in the first place??? What would have happened if Frost wasn't there for Bradfield to pack up and move to Florida over? Maybe Bradfield and his family wouldn't have spent "seven freakin' years" in that cult had he not also been coddled by Talbot's protégé -- Frost.
Read how Bradfield describes in another posting how he entered Full Preterism:
"For those of you who don’t know me, i embraced the full pret framework (all prophecy was fulfilled by ad70) in late 2002 and went on to aid Sam Frost as the techie guy behind Christ Covenant Church, which turned into RCM, as well as formed SGP, which is still one of the most active full pret social networks around... Well, there are a number of factors. Looking back, I think alot of it has to do with how i entered into the view. I embraced “full preterism” out of frustration and impatience. At the time that i decided to go all in, i was a pastor-in-training at a reformed baptist church that taught postmillennialism from the pulpit." (source)
Notice his situation. He was being groomed for the pastorate. He wanted to be a power-broker. He admits he became frustrated and impatient. It wasn't happening fast enough for him. Interestingly, Bradfield's history is repeating itself as he has jumped into Talbotism. He is currently a...and I quote: "a deacon-in-training" at Talbot's church. (See link) He is also the "techie guy" behind Talbot's ministries.
What has changed? Bradfield simply left one heresy/cult where he wasn't able to succeed and jumped into another one....doing the same things he previously did. He is still chasing the power.
STOCKHOLM SYNDROME
Bradfield almost behaves like a person with Stockholm syndrome, where he begins to identify with his abusers. After all, Frost directly abused Bradfield by helping him stay captive "seven freakin years" to the cult/heresy of Full Preterism. And Talbot fostered and aided Frost's push by never publicly opposing his pupil. And now, here's Bradfield working side-by-side with his two main abusers. You'd think he'd consider that they were directly responsible for what happened to him...and his family.
Commenting on Bradfield's article, Frost said:
"I would take umbrage at this if it were not for the truth. I remember those nights talking to Jason to “come on down” to Florida. We were, at the time, convinced. I know I was."
See, exactly as I said in 2011:
"Note the progression here. Bradfield loses acceptance in his former circles. The network breaks down and leaves him and his family without proper supporting fellowship, especially in his time of need. Somehow Bradfield gets in contact with hyperpreterist leader Sam Frost...One of my MAIN COMPLAINTS against Dr. Kenneth Talbot is that for 10 years, Talbot allowed Frost to not only attend Talbot's Christian seminary, Talbot actually allowed Frost to assist in developing the seminary's student materials. For 10 years, Talbot in essence validated Frost's hyperpreterism. Where was Talbot while Frost continued to advocate this heresy over the last 10-15 years? Why do we not see anything publicly from Talbot discouraging Frost's promotion of heresy? Instead, we see Bradfield; as a dejected Christian who is led astray by Frost into the heresy, by Frost being there at the very crucial moment...Notice the HUGE FACTOR that precipitated Bradfield's into the heresy -- a WELCOMING, comforting, validating atmosphere. Now, Bradfield is but one man. How about all the other people that Frost/Talbot coddled and took advantage of to promote Full Preterism. And what about all the people they are currently coddling and taking advantage of to promote Talbotism? Why is Bradfield now helping his former abusers abuse more people -- al be it with another heresy/cult. How can Bradfield trust these men? They obviously didn't care about him the first time around. Frost even admits he was "convinced" his heresy/cult was right. How long will he follow a person taking him down dangerous paths..."convinced" they are right but actually terribly wrong.
I've been opposing Talbot for many years now and for many years his proxies viciously attack me for daring to question an "elder". No matter how many facts are brought out, they always attempt to explain them away or say it is out of context. It sounds like they are "convinced" again...again by the SAME MAN who failed them the first time around. Talbot didn't just fail Bradfield, but he failed Frost. What kind of "elder", "pastor", "seminary president" coddles a major leader of a heresy yet takes no responsibility in what that does to people's lives. I know Talbot had almost single-handedly ruined my faith but he has never lifted a finger to help. He is an evil man who even now advocates "quick executions" of people who do not obey him if/when ever he is "in charge". Really Jason? This is what you want to be part of? Go on hating me all you want, but please, please do not repeat your history with these frauds.

The UnPreterist: When Murderous Men Are In Charge

When people; even more when supposed "Christians" will ignore or even worse support the horrific and appalling comments from men like Talbot, it is easy to see how Nazi Germany happened. Imagine if Talbot really was ever "in charge". He tells us outright that he plans to EXECUTE people who do not obey. Obey what? His interpretation of the Bible?
Anyone who attempts to justify or downplay what Talbot has said here is party to his murderous intentions. To say we must have taken Talbot out of context is naive. Talbot is clear in context that when he and his followers are in charge, they will KILL people who do not obey him. He is clear that he considers people "blights on society" and "road bumps" that he and his followers "don't want to deal with in [Talbot's] kingdom". And there is no excuse in trying to claim we should look at Talbot's whole body of work -- as if his kindness and "works" in other areas excuse his advocacy of KILLING people.
Anyone who continues to associate with Talbot merely legitimizes him and his plan to kill people.

The UnPreterist: What More Can Be Done?
When this blog was started in 2006, the intent was to help people get out of or avoid getting into "hyperpreterism" (Full Preterism). It was both a labor of love toward those people who were either in the "preterist movement" or knew someone in it; and it was a cathartic endeavor. But something I didn't realize at the beginning as much is that so-called "Partial-Preterism" is the "gateway drug" into Full Preterism. I less and less find fault with people who embrace Full Preterism because when you look at all the contradictory arguments from Partial-Preterists; it leads a person right into Full Preterism. I mean, when you have men like Kenneth Gentry, Gary DeMar, and their "papa"; Kenneth Talbot all saying that historic Christian eschatology has been so lacking or a "garbed mess" (DeMar's words); so much so that these men like Talbot create personalized eschatologies such as Talbot's Realized Preterism -- it is no wonder people desire to take up their own eschatology as well.The doctrines of these men are so convoluted that I don't blame an honest person for abandoning anything these men say. From Talbot's apparent Clarkian-induced Nestorianism, to Gentry's eventual 3rd coming of Christ these men are not the champions they are made out to be. Further, their "good ole boy" club where they are all connected either via being on each others' "boards" or having "churches" in each others self-made micro-denominations, or handing out "degrees" to each other from their self-made seminaries -- it is despicable. (look at all the connections, you'll see it too)
Add to this, their and their sycophantic followers' behavior. They even have one immature fellow who ironically enough is supposedly a "deacon-in-training" at one of their churches and who does lots of their websites. This fellow has tracked down my wife's name and called my house asking for her? Why? What kind of man complains to another man's wife over a theological dispute? Secondly, this same "deacon-in-training" tracked down where I work (a non-theological place) and called my boss, trying to get me fired. What did this fellow's "elders" do when I asked them to look into it? Told me "they didn't want to get involved". Yeah, real honorable men there.
Well, I've done all I can do here folks. There are loads of articles on this site. I list many people BY NAME so there is no confusion as to who I am addressing. I've given you loads of source links so that you can verify what I say about these people. Now it is up to you. You can either look the other way and keep endorsing men like the fellow who called my work (or his incestuous "pastors") or you can kick the dust off your feet and stick with the Christianity that Jesus and His hand-picked apostles taught and practiced. Because if you adopt that "Partial-Preterism" of these frauds with its claimed failure of historic Christianity; you might as well go all the way and accept Full Preterism. At least in Full Preterism you wouldn't be putting yourself under the direction of demonstrated frauds and liars such as these Partial-Preterists. Rather, I would like to see you adopt historic Christianity; which is NOT a "garbled mess".

What Is Talbotism? Another ISM In the Making
We must first ask what makes an "ism" within theology? For LuthernISM, CalvinISMi, or ArminianISM. All of the men these "isms" were named after certainly would rather had their names not become an ISM. So, why did they? They didn't use those terms to describe their views; although these terms help us to quickly sum up a perspective or at least get the general idea.
However, the "isms" come along especially when an advocate begins to propose perspectives they often claim are "their" teaching or "their" view.
WHAT IS TALBOTISM?
Talbotism is still in the making but it is a perspective around the teachings and practices of a man named Kenneth Talbot. Talbot and some of his followers like to deride people for pointing out the rise of his own personal "ism" and his own "followers"; who have been called "Talbotites", "Talbotians", and "Talbotists". But the fact remains, Talbot is making his own personal "ism". This is especially evident in the fact that Talbot has created his own denomination, his own seminary, and his own church. This far exceeds what Martin Luther and John Calvin did in personalizing their perspectives; so if those men have had their names turned into "isms", certainly Talbot's name is more a candidate.Further, Talbot creates entire personalized "ologies"; such as his own personalized eschatology he calls "Realized Preterism". (hear him say it in this 5 second audio clip). If that isn't enough to convince the reader that Talbot is either knowingly or unknowingly creating his own "ism", it should be said that Talbot also produced 89 hours worth of lectures on just his personalized eschatology. Let's put that in perspective. If you read aloud the entire Bible at a normal pace, it would take you approximately 72 hours to complete. However, Talbot has created 89 hours worth of droning monologue on merely one aspect of the Bible. If this isn't evidence of a man creating a personalized "ism" I don't know what is. Only the most devoted of Talbot followers would defend this kind of thing.
Next, if not already through the fact of creating his own denomination, his own seminary and own church, Talbot has declared he is somehow better than the average person when it comes to all things theological.

There is clear evidence that Talbot is concertedly advancing a personalized theology; ie. an "ism" of his own making. To respond to this evidence with claims I am trying to "smear" or "slander" Talbot, is simply being blind to the facts of the matter.
WHAT IS A TALBOTITE?
This idea of Talbot being cultish did not originate with me. The first mention I have found of Talbot as the leader of an "ism" as a cultic manifestation was noted by Dr. Thomas Roche, Teacher of Classical Languages at Aquidneck Island Christian Academy (see his impressive credentials here).Dr. Roche said of Talbot and his behavior:
"This 'denomination' [Talbot's] is also more or less a cult, the personal plaything of moderator-for-life Kenneth Talbot. Avoid...I hold to the existence of two types of cult, following the typology of the late Dr Walter Martin and his successor, Dr Hank Hanegraaff, authors of 'Kingdom of the Cults' and successive heads of the cult research group, 'The Christian Research Institute', in Calif. One type of cult is the theological cult, and to qualify here a group has to claim to be Christian while teaching a false gospel. Clearly this is not the case with Talbot. However, they also recognize the so-called 'sociological cult', groups that have orthodox theology but are cultic in terms of strong-man, authoritarian and oppressive leadership, doctrinaire mind-control attitudes, and extreme in-group/ out-group mentalities that make it very hard to depart, keep members isolated from non- and especially ex- members, etc., and give various special privileges/ status/ rule exemptions to the leadership." (ref#1, ref#2)
In September of 2011 I contacted Dr. Roche to see if he was still of the opinion that Talbot was cultic. His response at the time, without revealing too much of his private email message was:
"KEEP THE FAITH AND DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS CULT"
So, a Talbotite is the person who tends to follow the teachings of Talbot, even to the point of actually listening to 89 hours of lectures (that would be like listening 8 hours a day for 11 days straight). A Talbotite is a person that is somehow beholden to Talbot, via Talbot being a chairman on the board of their "ministry" as Talbot is on several (American Vision.com, NiceneCouncil.com) or having been given free or discounted tuition at his seminary as Talbot offered me before I wised up and began opposing his personalized "ism". Or a Talbotite is a person who spends inordinate amounts of time promoting anything Talbot. For example, as evident from this avid Talbot follower during a promotion of 700 hours worth of audio by Talbot. Look at how it is being promoted:
EXAMPLE OF TALBOTISM'S EFFECTS
"Welcome to the GoodieBox. So what is it? Or better, what’s in it? Christ Presbyterian Church of Lakeland, FL has been sitting on a gold mine of solid, Reformed sermons which have been made available only to members of the church and visitors who happened to asked for a disc. Not anymore. The church [Talbot's church] has partnered with WhitefieldMedia [Talbot's seminary's arm] to make this collection of over 700 sermons available to our [Talbot's main supporter] visitors." -- source
Note first of all, how Talbot's teachings are called a "goodiebox" and a "gold mine". Granted, many deceased persons are so esteemed and a fair amount of living persons as well. But taken along with all the other evidence, this is telling. It is even admitted within this promotion, that the material was only previously available to "members" and people who asked for it. What was it that Dr. Roche said about an aspect of a cult is its "in-group vs out-group" mentality?
But the issue is more profound when you realize that the entire promotion is...cultic. Here we have Talbot partnering with Talbot to promote Talbot; since in fact Talbot's church and WhitefieldMedia, and the website are ALL part and parcel an arm of Talbot.
CONCLUSION
While I could go into some of Talbot's personalized theology, such as his admitted NEW eschatology he is calling "Realized Preterism", such an endeavor at this point would be met with claims of "personal attack" on Talbot, even though it is apparent that Talbot is indeed promoting himself as a purveyor of his own "ism". So, despite whatever protestations Talbot or his followers might offer against the idea that he and they are promoting an "ism" of Talbot, the evidence is clear.
I leave it to the reader to use discretion with any man who would go through these lengths to promote himself; under the banner of "Christian" or otherwise.

Sam Frost, the man that even Dee Dee Warren called a LIAR and a PANDERER. The man who LIED to people, claiming he was EVER a “Christian” pastor. The man who used to get on to PalTalk, admittedly drunk out of his mind and claim to be a “scholar” preaching to people. The man who utters profanities at people. The man who covers up for thugs like Jason Bradfield who calls people’s workplaces and tries to get them fired. If ANYONE thinks Sam Frost and his little cadre of followers are legitimate representations of Christians — shame on you for allowing yourselves to be duped.
And there you have it, Sam Frost at his best of trying to deflect the documented lies he has spewed. He is truly a master of utilizing social conformance; trying to get everyone to join in on voting his critics off the island as if he was on “American Idol” instead of American Vision.

More Email Harassment from Roderick Edwards
Roderick Edwards, who claims to be a Christian yet does not attend any church and no longer sees a need for pastors, is now on the rampage to get at me via my elders and denomination.
In his typical stalker style, Roderick finally found out where i attend church and then attempted to contact my elders to drive a wedge between me and them. The most comical part about this, besides the fact that not a single man in the denomination takes him seriously, is that one of the elders is Dr Talbot; another victim of Roderick Edwards sinful, obsessive behavior. All one has to do is visit any site where Roderick posts and you will find post after post after post about Dr T; who has absolutely zero interaction with him and lives as though Roderick simply does not exist.
Well, after explaining to the stalker idiot that i run the church website and any messages that come via the site will be seen by me...because...uh..once again...i run the site...Roderick now claims that i "intercepted" these messages.
And since we all had a good laugh about this and chose to ignore him, Roderick is now trying to appeal to our General Assembly, who he thinks are nothing but a bunch of frauds.
He says so himself in this email sent to me after realizing that no one takes him seriously:
"I would expect nothing less from a corrupt organization posing as a Christian institution. I mean, after all; Talbot had to create his own denomination because he was not humble enough to submit to any of the 30,000 existing denominations. And now, as Robin pointed out; Talbot wears his "zoot suit" costume and sports his "I-don't-live-in-the-real-world" Dwarven beard as all you little minions google after his every word."Jason there is a concept for the kind of "unity" you are experiencing. It is the "thicker-than-thieves" concept. Of course you guys will stick together. Corruption loves company. You are a corrupt individual who believes you are "justified" in every corrupt thing you do.
"I wonder what legitimate "pastor" would be okay with a "deacon-in-training" intercepting his emails and posing as other people, and calling people's secular bosses in an attempt to get them fired. You and your "elders" are frauds Jason."
